Osprey Biotechnics plans 35-employee expansion in Sarasota County

Osprey Biotechnics Inc. is expanding to a larger facility and plans to add 35 employees over the next three years.

Osprey Biotechnics’ expansion marks the third expansion or relocation announced for Sarasota County in the last two months, said Kathy Baylis, president and chief executive officer of the Economic Development Corp. of Sarasota County, in a release.

Osprey is biotechnology company that creates beneficial bacterial products that promote animal health, plant health and environmental restoration. It’s based in Sarasota.
